About

Nat Tuke is an artist and graphic designer living and creating on the unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation). Her artwork is a love letter to the living world — a vibrant celebration of the coastal mountain landscape. Nat paints what it feels like to stand in nature, rather than simply what she sees. While nothing can truly capture the beauty or energy of our planet, she strives to convey its emotional essence through vivid colour and flowing linework. Crisp, fine lines painted with painstaking precision evoke the clarity and freshness of the coastal mountain air.

Nat is very aware of the fragility of the natural world and the important role it has in our lives, and believes strongly in the power of art as a means to convey this message. Our environment is under threat and our climate is in crisis. In her paintings though, she chooses to celebrate and cherish the beauty of the natural world as a great gift that has been given to us; that must be preserved and protected.
